::ATTENTION: THEY CHARGE YOU FOR NOTHING I had an appointment at Clinica do Mediterraneo on 27/12/17, appointment was made via email and I specified that I am interested in aparelho estético - white braces. My visit and conversation with the doctor was literally 3-4 minutes. The doctor (unfortunately don't remember his name, a young man) told me I have some cáries and maybe need braces. I replied that that's why I am here - because of braces. He said he can't give me any details about braces because first I need to do an exam (what makes sense, agree). I asked about prices and the doctor needed to ask for help the receptionist because he didn't know the prices of braces. What is weird... Doctor doesnt know the prices?! So the receptionist came, told him the prices in a very low voice and dotor repeated. That's it, I thanked the doctor and went out because have got an impression he doesn't have anything else to say (...about the treatment, wheather it is necessary to remove teeth, duration of treatment - the informarion I have got on EVERY appointment in other clinics). Moreover, they even did not print the prices as other clinics do! The receptionist asked me to wait for her. She came in a minute and told me that I have to pay 50 EUR. I was shocked as I was NOT informed on emails or BEFORE the visit! I said that I am very surprised and I had visited 5 other clinics before and none of them charged me for the first appointment! This was only informational appoitment and they actually gave me much more information and printed their prices. She said she doesn't know about other clinics, here you have to pay always! Well, I paid and went out VERY DISSAPOINTED and with the strong feeling that I was robbed. She didnt even give me any RECEIPT! DO NOT RECOMMEND CLINICA DO MEDITERRANEO!
