::Das 4*Hotel ist überbewertet! Schon die Umgebung des Hotels ist deprimierend :aus der Terrasse schaute ich direkt auf schwarze, schmutzigen Dächer einer alten stillgelegten Fischfabrik, anstatt- wie erwartet -Meer-bzw. Altstadaussichts! Beim Regen(was in Portugal keine Seltenheit, zu Frühlingszeit ist) werden die Balkone mit Regenwasser überschwemmt ;die sind seitlich mit einer Art von Gitter geschlossen u. direkt-ohne räumlichen Abstand -mit Nachbarn Balkon Kontakt haben, bitten, leider keine, nötige Intimität an(gehst raus auf Balkon um frische Luft zu holen da steht neben dir dein Nachbar, den du begrüßen muss...). Die Wände sind dünn, die Betten - alt, die daraus resultierende Akustik - hervorragend : man hört die quietschende Betten der vergnügenden Nachbarn.

::" Vamos embora hoje e...já sentimos saudades de cá estar. Aqui, sentimo-nos em casa. Começando pela recepção (sempre muito profissionais e atenciosos); passando pelos vossos colaboradores que arrumam e mantêm o Hotel limpo (duma simpatia e amabilidade que tocam e nos fazem sentir felizes ) , quartos sempre super limpos e arrumados. Terminando no restaurante: Excelente! Pessoas afáveis, sempre prontas a ajudar nos nossos pedidos, e a comida... DIVINAL! Pequenos almoços e jantares dignos de um rei. Já estamos a programar a nossa próxima estadia aqui.

::Love this hotel. Great price and very well looked after. The bar has just had a refresh and the staff can't so enough to help you. Great central location for the indoor market, ferry to the beach and for the rest of town it's an ideal spot for families visiting for the first time.

::Excellent A la Carte menu in the evening. Working our way through the menu and have loved everything so far. Great staff with good English. Top end meal prices by Portuguese standards but well worth it. Good wine list at reasonable prices.
