::Wonderful museum! Must see!

::Wonderful gem of a museum. It is the old villa of wealthy collectors, and thus provides a fascinating insight into Portuguese history. Beautifully laid out rooms with detailed descriptions available in multiple languages including English. It seems to be off the beaten tourist track which is an added bonus.

::Very good and cheap museum. It is a little bit hidden away from the usual tourists routes, so it is not that busy and you can actually enjoy it. It is basically the house (I would say villa) of someone who collected a lot of art pieces, antiques and similar. Really diverse and interesting.
Hugo Pedro-Martins
::In my opinion this is Lisbon's best kept secret. This museum is a high quality one featuring the personal collection of Medeiros e Almeida and his place. The items in the collection span several periods and come from all over the globe. Love this place!

::It is a lovely museum. Big and full of details. Free to visit on Saturdays mornings.
