::Located on the heart of downtown Lisbon, this museum was built on top of ancient ruins that were discovered during the renovation works of Millennium's headquarters. Most of the visit takes place underground. In there you can see the influence of not just one but of various civilisations and cultures that settled in the area where Lisbon stands today. The visit was very informative and eye opening about the evolution of this city since the Era of Roman occupation. The visit is free, but you have to book it in advance since tight quarters only allow for a limited number of visitor per visit.

::Really unexpected! Totally worth the visit, plus its free!
