  Amazing small cafe / restaurant right near the Castelo in Sines, Portugal. First impression may leave you thinking of a small town place but excellent food and friendly service quickly made us best friends of the restaurant. Great house wines, grilled fish, salad and dessert - mango mousse (yammi!). The owner is a nice gentlemen who entertained us with stories in superb English and was very attentive to our needs. Friendly smiling cooks and waitress helped create a very cozy and home-like atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. If we are ever back to Sines, we'll definitely come back to this restaurant.

  Am tot zis pe ici pe colo ca am avut noroc sa gasim doua lucuri libere si chiar asa s-a intamplat si aici. Intr-o atmosfera familiala, relaxata am servit un pranz foarte satios, gustos si nu foarte scump.

  The staff at the marina recommened this place as we were looking for somewhere a bit special for a long lunch. What a result! All the food is cooked over charcoal which gives it the most amazing taste and flavour. Superb selection of fresh fish which comes daily from the dock. The sea bream was out of this world. The meat selection was equally of very high quality. A sirloin steak was melt in the mouth delicious. Great wine selection also. Some very good Douro wines, some of the best that Portugal produces. A little gem hidden away behind the castle but worth the climb up.
