Natural is the adjective I would use, nothing is forced, from the wine to the conversation, it all flows easily. Francisco (the host) is very knowledgable and brings history and interesting facts across to wine amateurs like my girlfriend and I in a way which is easy to absorb and digest. Could also be a great way to start off an evening among friends. Book ahead.

::My girlfriend and I went for a dinner and wine pairing session at Venha Vinho last night and had a fantastic time. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon. Francisco made us feel so welcome in a homely setting. He is a very generous and personable host - really knowledgeable about wine and a great conversationist. We learned a lot about wine, how to match with food and a great deal about Portuguese history and culture. The food was delicious and the pairings were spot on. An amazing evening!
