  Ruins of the Templar castle and the convent. Quite a lovely sight. Entry is about 6 € but totally worth it. Can be covered in about 3 hours.

  A beautiful architectural piece, highly recommend a #visit, it's full of enchant. It's traditional Portuguese architecture is remarkable. A must see in Portugal

  A magical Templar site. Inspirational. A must go place with enough time to visit and see. Don't just take pictures.

  Terrific place. Easily could spend a half day wandering the castle and gardens. The main point of interest the convent’s church. Round altar by the structure and mix of Gothic style inside and Manueline style outside keeps adding the interest. Don’t forget to stop by in a city itself.

  This is the amazing UNESCO World Heritage Convent of Christ. The castle and convent complex is vast and monumental, the numerous cloisters, kitchen and dining hall are very interesting. The documentary at the end of the visit is very instructive. The chapterhouse window and round church are awe-inspiring.
