  A stunning gastronomic experience. The moment you walk through the door you feel at home. This small restaurant (seats no more than 20) feels homely, and you’re made to feel at home by the owners right from the off. A stunning five course dining experience brought to life by the husband and wife duo. The chef Peter explains every plate in fine detail before you order, only to make you want everything that’s to offer. This was such a wonderful evening and we an amazing experience. This place is better than most places I’ve been to in the UK. I can’t wait to come back!

  We loved our evening with Ana and Peter. Ana welcomed us very nicely and explained the menu to us with passion. Also, lovely to hear her speak about her husband Peter, the cook. The food was delicious and well balanced. Well worth the money!

  My boyfriend and myself went to Dom Carlos restaurant after looking up reviews. The food beat our expectations! It was outstanding! Both Peter and Ana were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going here for a nice romantic 5 course meal. I would definitely go back to Portugal especially for the food there it was well worth the money.

  July 2016: Excellent from start to finish. A delightful evening of superb dining. Every dish was explained to us in detail and was outstanding. Would definitely recommend a visit. July 2017: Another wonderful evening. Ana & Peter never disappoint. The standard excellent again. It really doesn't get any better than this. Booking in advance recommended.
