::On aurait aimĂ© que le personnel nous explique le fonctionnement des pĂ©ages automatiques au Portugal... Finalement en rendant la voiture nous avons demandĂ© si nous devions payer les frais d'autoroute. Et lĂ on nous dit qu'en fait faut aller les payer dans un post office mais que on ne peut payer que les 4 derniers jours puis que tout ce qui est dans les derniĂšres 48h n'appaissent pas. Bref tout cela pour vous refourguer une option de paiement au dĂ©part mais on aurait aimĂ© ĂȘtre prĂ©venu... En plus je l'ai gentiment expliquĂ© Ă la personne Ă l'accueil qui Ă©tĂ© de mauvaise foi en me disant que tout le monde Ă©tĂ© au courant... Nous voyageons beaucoup et non nous n'Ă©tions pas au courant...

::The staff here was actually much better than I expected. Iâve definitely had horrible experiences renting at foreign affiliates of U.S. car rental agencies. Once the paper work was taken care of we had our car and were gone in 15 min. I had a pre-booked online reservation, and once I got to the counter the whole process took about 15-20 min. The staff was actually helpful, answered all my questions, and didnât try to up-sell me on a bunch of garbage I didnât want. All that being said, you are going to wait. Period. How long will depend on a number of factors. Our whole experience was about an hour from the time we got there to when we left. Keep in mind, we were there at 10am, on a Tuesday, in the off season. Iâm sure in peak season near the end of the week this place is absolutely packed. They had all three attendants working. Averaging about 15-20 min a customer they could process about nine people an hour. This should give you some idea of how long youâre going to wait when you get in line. Of course if people show up without a reservation that throws the whole thing off because those rentals take much longer to process. Honestly, Iâve been at airport rental counters in the U.S. that were way worse than this. All-in-all, nice people but plan on waiting. If youâre trying to be in and out quickly be the first person in line when they open at 8:00am. Couple of additional tid bits that might be helpful. First, if you decline their supplemental insurance, they are going to put about a $2000 hold on your credit card. Second, we opted for the toll easy pass, which I think was four or five euro per day. You pay the totals when you return the car, which from what I saw could be hefty - up to 20 euro. We drove to Faro from Lisbon and passed through two or three toll booths. Since it was off-season there wasnât much traffic so Iâm not sure that the easy pass was necessary from a time saving perspective. Third, cars rented from this agency can be returned to the Lisbon airport.

::If I could give 0 stars I would. Waited in line for over 2 hours to get the car. Showed up to 15 people in line ahead of us, all with existing reservations. It was so frustrating and upsetting to spend half a day of our vacation just trying to get our car. They asked us all of the same questions we had filled in online. They also put a hold of 1280 euros on my credit card (over $2,000 CAD for me) because I wouldn't buy THEIR car insurance which started at $150, because I was already covered with my insurance. After spending 2 hours waiting just to get the car, I didn't feel like arguing over insurance and so I let them put the hold but I couldn't use that card for the rest of my vacation which obviously isn't convenient. Conclusion: DO NOT GET YOUR CAR HERE. Go to the airport location and save yourself the grief.

::2,5 Stunden Schlange-stehen an einem Montag finde ich nicht in Ordnung. Vor zwei Jahren haben wir bereits zwei Stunden gewartet und sind von einer Ausnahme ausgegangen. Sonst bisher alles gut, nettes Personal und gepflegtes Fahrzeug.

::It's actually the 'Guerin' just up the road - great location for downtown & staff were friendly. Other reviews noted the queues, but it's hit & miss: 0 other people there when I picked up but about 5 in line when I dropped off. If you want to go to/from downtown it's still probably quicker than taking the metro out to the airport to get a car. Something to note: it is open at the weekends & on public holidays but the Enterprise app/website says it is closed Sat/Sun (as of August 2017). If you book online until the Monday but don't pay up front the staff can refund you the unused days if you drop off during the weekend - if you pay online though they can't refund you anything!
