Deve entrar-se no Interior da Estação onde se irá encontrar a Loja Europcar. Europcar RRS ( Railway Station ) / Coimbra CP is located inside the Train Station, near the Ticket Office.

::Initially it was going to be a good review about renting from Europcar in Portugal, but unfortunately it turned out to be a bad experience. We have reserved a car with them in Caldas da Rainha, but unfortunately missed out train to pick it up on time and got off in Coimbra B railway station where they had the nearest branch couple of hours before the pick up from Caldas was due (there were no further trains from Coimbra or Porto to get us to pick the Caldas car before their office closing time). The Europcar website turned out a bit rubbish when trying to cancel the Caldas pick up and booking it at Coimbra B - it was showing the cars are available, but the system failed to cancel one and book another although by their T&C we could cancel it before the due pick up time. The lady in the Coimbra B office appeared nice to start with - she managed to rebook the car to be picked up from her office and had a car ready for us. You can imagine with all this missing trains business and potentially missing car pick up and getting stranded somewhere without having a room to stay, we were quite stressed plus my husband was feeling ill at the time, so first mistake and the biggest - we trusted her that she recorded all the optional fees we agreed to correctly - we said "yes" to renting the toll fees box, but "no" to extra insurance. And I clearly remember having this conversation with my husband in front of her that if we don't take up this options we could face up to 900 euros in case of damage, and we decided to take this risk. Soo... stupid mistake due to stress and lady appearing to be an honest and decent human being - we didn't double check the sum before signing the contract. On returning the car to Caldas office as agreed the week later we have been given a sum to pay of 100 euros more than expected - and "Suprise! Surprise!" we found that the lady from Coimbra B office has put on the extra insurance fees on it. Advised by chap in Caldas to contact her during the working week (it was Saturday) which we did and the same lady on the phone had her story ready for us that she remembers us agreeing to pay the extra insurance. Obviously, can't do anything about it now as they have our signature. So options are: 1) lady from Coimbra B Europcar office took advantage of our stress to earn extra money 2) her English was poor (it clearly wasn't) and she misunderstood our answer 3) she made a non-deliberate mistake, but now is acting dishonestly and is afraid of complaint in case she confesses her mistake. The result is even more stress and extra charges after holiday.
