::Still refurbishing but still fascinating

::The 18th-century Pimenta Palace houses this city-run museum charting Lisbon's history. There is a scale model of Lisbon before the 1755 Earthquake. In the garden there are very interesting pieces of ceramic designed by Bordalo Pinheiro. Definitely worth a visit.

::A lot of it is closed but there’s a cool photo exhibition on and the grounds are a great place to wander and chill.
David Frost
::The ground floor with almost all the interesting exhibits is closed with no reopening date. Don't bother going until it's reopened unless you're particularly interested in 18th century prints.
Marcel Wagner
::Very interesting display of Lisbon's history in a beautiful old building with a nice quiet garden with peacocks and cute sculptures. At the moment the antique history part of exhibition is closed, but everything from the great earthquake onwards can be seen. And it's absolutely worth visiting!
