  Me and two of my colleagues came here as we were in the area and needed a quick place to eat, we asked someone randomly for a good place to have lunch and were suggested this place. Seems to be a great spot for more traditional heavy portuguese food, popular with the middle class(the prices are also slightly higher than (the Lisbon average), there’s a slight Bullfighting tone to their decor but apart from that the restaurant is great, service was good, considering how packed this place was, the starters were all laid out on the table and you had to take away all the stuff you don’t want(I really hate then restaurants try to shove starters like this, hence the 4 star review). As for the food, it was great, maybe because we were starving but everything they brought to the table tasted amazing, I had pork loin with spinach, my boss had the fish soup with potatoes and other colleague had steak, every single one of them were cooked to perfection. We didn’t have time for desert but we saw our table neighbours order some and it looked amazing! Will definitely come back here if I’m jn the area. ps: I’m yet to try a restaurant whose name starts with “Solar dos...” isn’t amazing.

  Cozinha nacional de qualidade ímpar. Garrafeira de invejar. Simpatia na receção e no serviço Motorista toma conta do carro não precisa se preocupar.

  Tive um atendimento excelente. A comida era razoável, achei caro e penso que não correspondeu às expectativas. Atenção aos não fumadores, fuma-se dentro do restaurante e não sei se haverá salas para não fumadores, pelo menos não me avisaram quando entrei.

  Excelente serviço e simpatia por parte de todos os colaboradores e especialmente o proprietário sr. Zé. Excelente experiência desde as entradas a todos os pratos e muito boa carta de vinhos. Muito boa confecção e qualidade dos produtos. Apesar de ser um restaurante caro vale sempre a pena voltar lá.

  Super overrated. First of all, I can’t judge other dishes but the things I ordered were absolutely not good. I hat the Flaky Sheet, claimed as the house specialty and the waiter told me that it was like a “croissant with a lobster in it” but it was not. The dough was not puffed and like not well cooked. The lobster was without shell but the intestine was not picked out. The dessert was super weird and I don’t know what it was. It tasted like super old dry scrambled eggs with a lot of sugar topped with cinnamon. Second, the octopus salad starter I ordered didn’t come and no explanation. Third, the bread, olives, water, pepper were brought all up before ordering and I was not told they were so expensive. So I ended up paying around 20 euros for that. For one not-happy meal, I paid 55.7 euros for one person! Definitely not recommended!!!
