  Beautiful hotel in the center of Funchal. Big rooms, friendly staff and super cool view from the terrace. The only detail to mention is that the main entry is inside of a Shopping center, so if you are looking for a central location this place is perfect, but if you what to chill out maybe it is not the best choice as it can get a bit noisy. The SPA is great, many options and super professional staff.

  I cannot comment on the accomodation as I did not stay but visited for a drink and look around. Beautiful modern boutique hotel with rooftop pool and bar with spectacular views. Great central location although strange entrance off shopping mall. Car parking could be a problem.funchal is beautiful, take the red bus tour for good snapshot of island

  O The Vine partilha o muito bom (Localização, modernidade, simpatia do serviço) com alguns pontos que não são assim tão bons (sistema de iluminação dos quartos, variedade do Pequeno almoço, variedade de comida no bar, preço excessivo). Para ver o fogo de artifício da passagem de ano tem uma ótima vista, está mesmo no centro da cidade e por baixo do hotel fica um Centro Comercial, onde tudo se encontra. Mas fora a localização, que pode ser determinante, há outros hotéis no Funchal, também de 5 estrelas, a preços bem mais acolhedores.

  Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful - we were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite, as well as some free bubbly, as it was our honeymoon. Rooms are very nice, modern clean and functional. Easy to use central console for all the lighting, blinds etc. And a great shower age huge bath, particularity liked the waterfall taps everywhere. The rooftop bar was great too, excellent cocktails (some unique ones), amazing view, and a jacuzzi along one side of the roof (looking towards the hills) and the pool along another side, looking over towards the sea. Very good spa, the couple's retreat was great, over 2 hours and 4 treatments, pricey but worth it. Breakfast excellent, good range of hot and cold food on the buffet, plus more you can request, with some variation each day. There's a gym too but we never made it down there! Overall one of the best hotels we've stayed in, both in terms of service and room quality. No compromises on anything either, which is nice, and the staff can't do enough to help you.
